Art 2 Art UK is proud to present the George Ioannou original collection. George's original hand painted canvases are only found in a handful of specialist galleries, and Art 2 Art UK is now the first to offer internet purchasers the ability to view George's original artworks online, with up to date availability listings. The demand for Ioannou original works is in great demand, and with the small number that are still available, we hope we are able to offer a sales service that is on par with the exclusivity of the artwork itself. In conjunction with our seven high-street galleries, will will always try our hardest to offer our clients the opportunity to view their choice of artwork in the comfort and the privacy of their own home. The decisions that have to be made when purchasing original artwork are not only financial, but the aesthetics of the piece must be at the forefront of any final conclusion. Once a price has been agreed upon, the artwork will be delivered by ourselves in a softwood crate that can be stored and reused if ever the canvas needs to be moved in the future. The picture will then be professionally hung, and a framed certificate of authenticity and framed paintbrush will be included free of charge.

The photos to the left are of the currently available "I'll have the Calamari" artwork. This particular canvas was originally inspired by the artists love of a great gangster film...Sexy Beast. The end result is a great portrayal of Ray Winston's character "Gary 'Gal' Dove. The artwork is 40 x 40 inches square. It is painted with a mixture of acrylics and varnish on canvas, set on 2 1/2 inches thick stretcher bars. With George himself as a measure of scale, it is easy to see how this particular painting will be the centre of attention of any contemporary room. Price is upon application. The photos to the right are of the original artwork titled "Razor's...Cut Him" The image of Bob Hoskins' character "Harold Shand" is taken from probably the greatest British gangster film ever made...The Long Good Friday. The artwork is 40 x 40 inches square and is painted using a mixture of acrylics and varnish on canvas, stretched over 2 inch wide gallery stretcher bars. With the subtle use of colours and the attention to detail used in this particular piece, it is craving for that minimalist space to govern over, just as the big man would want it !

Their are a limited number of originals that have never been made available on the market due to George's reluctance to part with some of his best loved paintings including "Audrey" and "One way ticket to the Resurrection". The photographs above are of the recently acquired original painting titled "Goodfellas" which was sold to a regular client of Art 2 Art UK. The Goodfellas artwork was made available in November of 2005 and was sold only week after its release. The pictures show the canvas in its new home hanging alongside the framed certificate and paintbrush provided exclusively by Art 2 Art UK. All originals sold through Art 2 Art UK are delivered and hung in person to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
